Methods

Simulation:
We use ADINA, an FSIS tool, to solve numerically the set of Navier Stokes equations.

Input: 2D semi-circular and parabolic shaped windmills with different simulation variables (e.g. mesh precision, steady/unsteady, ...).

Output: multiple metrics for evaluating the output of the windmill and visualizations of these metrics such as the pressure field (fig. 1) or the velocity field(fig. 2).
